Technician II, Maintenance
Under limited supervision, troubleshoot, disassemble and repair a wide variety of plant machinery and equipment for both production and facilities. Set up,
adjust and modify equipment to maintain quality standards that produce a wide variety of products. Install new equipment, obtain replacement parts, recommend
improvements and modifications to both equipment and building. Assist in training both current and new employees. Perform preventative maintenance on a
wide variety of equipment throughout the facility. Interface with various departments and outside contractors to complete assignments and resolve problems.
Duties and Responsibilities:
--Test, troubleshoot, repair, replace machinery, parts, test equipment including building systems in accordance with company policies, procedures,
codes, regulations, etc.
-- Set up, modify, adjust machines and building equipment to maintain quality standards and to produce a wide variety of products following general instructions.
--Complete Preventative Maintenance tasks and work orders.
-- Install, become familiarized with new machines, standards. Recommend machine improvements and modifications for both equipment and buildings as needed.
--Grounds keeping as needed.
-- Interface with inside and outside contacts to complete assignments, resolve problems.
-- Maintain files, logs, lists, etc. Complete required paperwork.
-- Perform other related duties as required by management.
Work Experience Requirements:
-- Three to five years in a manufacturing facilities/production maintenance shop environment. Background with administrative and leadership abilities.
-- Understanding of injection molding function and diagnosis and troubleshooting experience is required.
-- Experience with end of arm tooling (EOAT) is a plus.
-- Experience or basic understanding of robot programming is a plus.
--Associate degree in a Maintenance field or Unrelated Associates degree with
three to five years in a maintenance background or equivalent.
