The Support Associate Transport/Mobility Technician provides a wide variety of services to the customer. Primary duties include assisting with patient transfers/transports to and from Nursing Units. Radiology, Surgery, Day Surgery, Endoscopy, Dialysis, and other areas as needed; assisting patients with mobility tasks on nursing floors; Secondary duties include patient related equipment/supply transport. Utilizes various means of transportation and transfer/mobility devices as appropriate to the patient s condition and/or protocols as required.
- Excellent verbal communication skillsS
- Six (6) months hospital experience preferred.
- Previous transport (or similar) tech and/or customer service experience preferred.
- CPI certification required.
- Heartsaver required.
