The Clinical Scheduler provides essential support to the delivery of home health services in compliance with regulations and agency policies. Manages and maintains an accurate patient schedule for each clinical team. Ensures that staff productivity standards are met or exceeded and that agency admission targets/census is met or exceeded. Performs activities by effectively coordinating patient scheduling and admission information between Intake, Scheduling and Clinical Team areas. Ensures that all patient visits are scheduled in conjunction with physician orders and payer authorizations.
Required Work Experience: 3 years experience in health care related field; home health experience preferred.
Required Knowledge: Medical terminology
Skills Needed: Computer proficient; data entry; excellent communication, organization and customer service; ability to work as a team member; solve problems and multi-task.
