Job Summary

The Senior Engineer, Quality is responsible for planning, organizing and reporting on all quality-related activities to assure fulfillment of requirements. Support development, communication, deployment and management of overall quality strategies. This includes, but not limited to: Environmental Compliance, Measurement System Analysis (MSA), Statistical Process Control (SPC), and Change Control. This position will conduct periodic audits to verify that process capability requirements are maintained over the time and to ensure that documented process flow is followed and necessary process controls are in place. Provide Quality guidance to contribute and support key functions such as: Engineering, Manufacturing, Development and Procurement groups. Identify systemic quality issues and driving corrective and preventative actions.

Roles & Responsibilities

This position has responsibility for:

* Handles environmental request, Restriction of Hazard Substance (RoHS), Registration Evaluation Authorization Chemicals (REACH), and Material declaration

* Assist in performing audits if process capability requirements, and necessary process controls are in place

* Generate, monitor, report and improve Corrective Actions

* Generate/revise pSemi requirements documentation

* Prepare data and information for the Monthly Board Review meetings

* Drive resolution of quality issues back to the root cause arising from customer complaints and supply chain and non-conformances

* Identify systemic quality issues and driving corrective and preventative actions

* Data and information collection regarding trends and issues and from assessments

* Root cause analysis and problem resolution

Minimum Qualifications (Experience and Skills)

* Minimum of 5 years of experience in handling environmental requests

* Minimum of 5 years of work related experience in a high technology environment, preferably Semiconductor industry

* Proficient in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Power Point)

* Team player

* Technical knowledge in environmental requirements and standards

* Keen attention to detail

* Excellent oral and written communication skills, including presentation skills

* Self-starter with the ability to problem solve and make good judgement to make quality-related decisions

* Experience in using statistical software to establish and update MSA reports

* Demonstrated ability to work effectively within a team environment

* Experience in conducting, leading and facilitating 8D/Corrective Action Report process

Preferred Qualifications

* Experience with Agile document control system

* Experience in using AIAG automotive core tools

* Certified Six Sigma Black Belt, experienced and proficient in DMAIC process

* Certified auditor to conduct ISO9001:2015/IATF16949/AS9100D audits internally and on suppliers

Education Requirements

* Bachelors Degree in Physics, Electrical Engineering or equivalent

* Certified auditor to conduct ISO9001:2015/IATF16949/AS9100D audits internally and on suppliers
