Job Description:

Utilizing the nursing process and guidelines for medical management, provides care for patients within the standards of the clinic, the department, and hospital and regulatory agencies.This position is in our memory diagnostic/general geriatric Outpatient Clinic doing new evaluations and ongoing psychopharm management for older adults. Employment at McLean Hospital is contingent upon a successful CORI (Criminal Background Check), National Background Check and clearance from the Occupational Health Department
EDUCATION:

Masters degree from an accredited school of nursing.
LICENSURE:

Current licensure in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts as a Registered Nurse and Clinical Nurse Specialist.
SKILLS:

Demonstrates verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work cooperatively with others as part of a multi-disciplinary team including primary care physicians but also comfortable working independently
EXPERIENCE:

One year nurse practitioner experience preferred.
CERTIFICATION:

American Nurses Association Certification as adult, family psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner.

Technology Statement:

All employees must possess basic computer skills to use a variety of electronic or online systems for communication, clinical and administrative purposes.

For eCare Clinical Positions:

Required to complete electronic medical records training, and demonstrate 80% accuracy on competency test within 30 days of hire.
