p strong Position Mission: /strong /p p Assist General Manager by managing the daily operations of the bakery-cafe to ensure company standards are maintained and continually improved. /p p strong Physical Requirements: /strong /p ul li Must be able to lift 40 lbs above head with little or no assistance. /li li Must be able to stand up to 4 hours with no break. /li li Must be able to work a minimum of 50 hours per week /li /ul p strong Preferred Background: /strong /p ul li AA or BA in related field preferred but not required. /li li 1-3 years food management experience, preferably in limited food service atmosphere. /li li Exposure to financial accountability. /li li Ability to plan, motivate and influence others. /li li Excellent communication, interpersonal and customer service skills. /li li Ability to work well independently and as part of a team. /li /ul p strong Key Responsibilities: /strong /p ul li strong Open and close the bakery-cafe. /strong /li li strong Maintain Quality Bakery-Cafe Operations While Ensuring Customer Satisfaction /strong /li /ul ol li Establish and build positive relationships with customers to ensure satisfaction and continued sales. /li li Assist in ensuring the bakery-cafe is staffed to maintain company essence and quality standards. /li li Communicate and ensure adherence to all bakery-cafe policies and procedures. /li li Perform operational activities such as inventory control, scheduling, sanitation, planning, maintaining stock, monitoring food supplies and forecast projections and ensuring product quality. /li li Support the General Manager and make operational decisions in his/her absence. /li li Incorporate the 5 concept values into daily operation of the bakery-cafe. /li li Assist in helping the bakery-caf adhere to P.E.G.S. standards. /li /ol ul li strong Management and Development /strong /li /ul ol li Supervise the daily operation of the baker-cafe. /li li Assist the General Manager in hiring, training, evaluating and disciplining associates. /li li Act as a role model and demonstrate professional behavior with associates. /li /ol ul li strong Financial Contribution /strong /li /ul ol li Assist the General Manager in food cost management, analyze and understand P & L factors. /li /ol
