Senior Director, Portfolio Management Business DevelopmentDepartment: Front Office SolutionsManager: Stanley KwasniewskiLocation: GlobalThe Front Office Solutions team builds and delivers products that are used by Portfolio Managers and Traders. These products include the Portfolio Management Platform (PMP). The Senior Director of Portfolio Management Business Development will have global oversight for our strategy and strategic initiatives pertaining to the extension PMP's capabilities into cognitive computing and analytics-driven real time portfolio insights. He or she will define and lead the strategic product roadmap for the Portfolio Management Business. He or she will own product launches, business development, partnerships, and M&A opportunities related to FactSet's portfolio management business. This leader will be responsible for determining the target markets and strategic milestones to measure progress toward the long term objective of capturing additional Portfolio Manager global market share.Responsibilities:Senior Director, Portfolio Management Business DevelopmentDefine and lead the strategy roadmap for FactSet's portfolio management business. Define and analyze metrics that inform the success of the business.Communicate an industry overview, key competitors, and define the current landscape of Portfolio Managers to senior members of our business, Sales, Product Development and Engineering teams.Define our target market(s), our unique selling proposition (USP), and anticipated obstacles that will hamper our ability to achieve our goals.Analyze pricing and pricing strategy to meet revenue and profitability goals. Evaluate pricing relative to the market and to our competition.Interact regularly with existing clients and sales prospects to understand their evolving needs and market opportunities. Assist Sales as necessary with retention, expansion, and new opportunities. Conduct win/loss analysis when feasible.Partner with marketing for advocacy of ongoing industry issues and opportunities to advance FactSet. Participate and speak at industry events representing FactSet and our portfolio management business.Identify and build partnerships with key influencers in the selection of portfolio management products to build awareness of FactSet's offering and increase the frequency of sales referrals. This may include technology consultants and industry associations.Foster and establish relationships with all relevant businesses within FactSet.Make recommendations to Senior Leadership about opportunities for partnerships, strategic investments, and acquisitions of new technology and content that further advances our capabilities within portfolio management.QualificationsEstablished relationships with Institutional Asset Managers.Deep understanding of portfolio management workflows.Proven ability to represent FactSet in commercial discussions and coordinate with key partners within Legal, Sales, Product Development, and Marketing.10+ years' experience working with Asset Management software solutions.Familiarity with artificial intelligence and machine learningStrong communication and presentation skills.
