Job Description:

FactSet makes various data available to our clients via the FactSet workstation or in feeds. Clients include Research Analysts, Credit Analysts, Portfolio Managers and Investment Bankers. Traditionally, FactSet Fundamentals and Estimates has focused on integrating financial data such as Income Statement, Balance Sheet and Cash Flow data. Currently, FactSet Fundamentals is adding a significant amount of sector-specific data-sets. Sectors include Banks, Insurance, Real Estate, Utilities, Oil & Gas, Metail & Mining, and Technology sectors.Content Manager - Oil & Das will work with Oil & Gas Sector Lead to implement new data-offerings. The data-sets are sourced from company financial filings, presentations, and industry reports, either in-house collected or delivered by a FactSet partner. You will also work with software development people to make sure all data is implemented correctly in the FactSet Workstation and Feed products. Job ResponsibilitiesResearch various compay filings and industry reports to gain insight into industry metrics and data models.Develop content product specifications based on client requirements.Work with software engineers to implement new databases and improve existing databases.Test the new products thoroughly and make sure proper Quality Control processes are in place.Become subject matter expert of the content.Provide support for clients and use client feedback to improve the products.QualificationsBachelor's degree required (e.g. Accounting, Mathematics, Finance)Minimum of 5 - 8 years of experiences using financial data (Income Statement, Balance Sheet and Cash Flow data), especially a good understanding of equity analysis of Oil & Gas companies and regulatory filings.Experience in defining business requirement and project implementationStrong analytical and problem solving skills.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.CPA or CFA certification preferred, but not required.FactSet is an Equal Opportunity Employer - M/F/Veteran/Disability/Sexual Orientation/Gender IdentityVEVRAA Federal ContractorRequest Priority Protected Veteran & Disabled Referrals for all of our locations within the stateThe EEO is the Law poster is available here.FactSet Research Systems Inc. endeavors to make our website accessible to any and all users.
