At Guardian, you will play a key role in our presentation support team. You'll be constantly offering strategic insights and suggestions, mobilizing resources, and leading the creative development of all custom presentation materials in support of finalist opportunities for our largest customers. You will have a seat at the table developing custom pitch strategies. Your fresh and innovative ideas will be heard. You're going to need to be agile. You'll need to be a tech-savvy digital storyteller. You're going to have to roll up your sleeves, tap into your creative side, and flex your leadership muscles.
You will lead internal support for the presentation process from start to finish. You will create compelling and memorable presentation materials that reflect our customer focus. You will lead the debrief process to uncover lessons learned and drive improvements in our presentation support team.

You really like developing presentations. You're adept at uncovering the story and illustrating it visually.
You're a savvy, strategic thinker. You know how to set a pursuit strategy, and you have the creative chops to boil complex information down into concise messages that move your audience to action.
You enjoy the "hunt". Winning business for a company you respect feels great, and you like knowing you had a hand in bringing a new customer on board.
You see the bigger picture and understand where presentations fall within the pre-sale pipeline, and you're eager to gain exposure to other customer touchpoints (e.g. proposals, requests for information, etc.)
You know how to illustrate ROI, long-term customer value, and market competitiveness.
You understand that context drives content and are adept at developing impactful presentations for in-person and virtual meetings alike.
You are an expert in PowerPoint, and have experience and/or a significant appetite to work with more interactive and digital presentation software tools (e.g. Ceros, Prezi, Visme, etc.)
You have 3-5 years of relevant experience, preferably some of it in roles where you have had to wear many hats and "do some of everything."
You understand that presentations aren't about static slides, and you're comfortable developing video and audio content on-the-fly.
You know how to engage an audience. You strategically design presentations to encourage meaningful dialogue and discussion resulting in a call-to-action.
You are a strong leader. You can lead conversations and run efficient meetings, but you know when to listen - and what to listen for.
You are an exceptional communicator. From written to verbal to visual, you know how to set the story and adapt it to any medium.
You know your way around a pitch.
You are a great partner. You know how to flex your personal style in order to effectively deal with diverse and strong personalities at all levels across an organization.
You don't just take orders from others. You know how to speak up and offer strategic insights and creative ideas.
You are both technical and creative. You embrace new technologies and are often ahead of the technological curve.
You learn from every presentation you work on. You have an analytical side, and understand how to extract, synthesize and communicate debrief insights.

You are a presentation manager and are time, project and detail oriented. You cross every "t" and dot every "i". But you can respond to a new or unique situation since you understand the meaning behind the process.

Relevant experience or a BA, BS, or MBA in Communications / Marketing / Sales Strategies
3-5 years of strategic presentation development
Understanding of presale development process and project execution experience
Medium to advanced PowerPoint skills
Experience developing video and audio content for use in both in-person and virtual presentations.
Excellence in understanding sales strategy and objectives
Experience with presentation automation software a plus
Experience with virtual presentation software - Teams, Skype, Webex, Zoom, etc. - a plus
Experience with digital presentation platforms - Ceros, Prezi, Visme, etc. - a plus
Association of Proposal Management Professionals (APMP) accreditation desirable
Other industry accreditations (AMA, Adobe Creative Suite certifications, etc.) desirable
Create compelling and memorable presentation and proposal materials that reflect our customer focus and detail our expertise
Lead the creative and develop ways to incorporate digital, audio and video into presentations and proposals.
Lead support for presentation process from start to finish
Collaborate across teams to deliver an excellent experience for our distribution salesforce, broker's and client's.
Remote, work from home OR in person regional office in Bethlehem PA, New York, NY or Holmdel NJ.
Occasional travel (5-10 %) may be required.
May be required to work evenings and weekends to meet deadlines.
