The Project Manager is a dynamic and confident individual with hands-on business and technical implementation experience and strong communication, creative problem solving, and project management skills to support the company's growth. In this individual contributor role, the incumbent will provide project management services to new and existing Advantasure customers.
Successfully manages multiple, simultaneous projects by continually motivating clients, ensuring project timelines are met and client issues are addressed.
Escalates issues to designated team contacts and/or cross-functional teams in a timely manner to ensure implementation issues are addressed early.
Contributes to special projects as needed to ensure successful service launches, improved internal processes and methodologies, and on-going retention and satisfaction of client base.
Interacts with clients to understand their business needs, communicates project status, and develops relationships to ensure satisfaction, while minimizing project risk.
Applies project management techniques and individual technical and/or business knowledge to ensure that the work product and project deliverables are of the highest quality to satisfy client expectations.
Works with Product Management, Engineering, and QA to develop solutions that will meet client's business objectives.
Develops project plans, tasks, budget, deliverables, dependencies, and resource requirements to ensure on time delivery.
Tracks, assesses, and communicates client and project goals, plans, issues, timelines, action items, metrics, and budgets, prior to and subsequent to implementation.
Prepares and enhances regular reporting for clients.
Identifies resource needs for project execution and manages daily execution of the project.
Coordinates document management and shares through the client specific Jira site.
Monitors client testing and issues resolution.
Provides direction to business analysts as directed by the implementation lead.

Bachelor's degree in a related field. Master's degree in a related field is preferred. Relevant combination of education and experience may be considered in lieu of degree. Continuous learning, as defined by the Company's learning philosophy, is required. Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification or progress toward certification is highly preferred and encouraged.
Seven years experience of progressive responsibility in a Project Management environment with demonstrated technical knowledge that provides the necessary knowledge, skills, and abilities required. Three to five years of experience managing the implementation of complex software applications, with two years of technical project management experience required.
SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE/ABILITIES (SKA) REQUIRED:
Excellent client management skills.
Knowledge of formalized software development methodologies.
Knowledge of MS Excel and MS Project.
Expertise in browser-based Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) applications.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, ability to explain complex topics clearly, and strong attention to detail.
Ability to work with customers to understand their needs and develop custom solutions.
Highly self-motivated, an expert at juggling many competing projects and priorities on fast-paced timelines, and ability to deliver unparalleled customer success.
Work is performed in an office setting with no unusual hazards.
