RWJBH is seeking a Manager for our Patient Access Service Department at the New Brunswick campus. This is a full-time, day position (40hours/week).


* Provide management oversight to Patient Access Staff and to ensure that the staff is adequately trained and competent to perform their jobs.

* The Manager has responsibility to ensure the department is staffed according to core schedules, manages to the budgeted staffing and productivity, oversee payroll, evaluations and the accuracy of the registration process.

* The Patient Access Manager has a role in managing the prevention of denials and is knowledgeable of insurance requirements for the authorization of services for hospital services.

* The Manager will ensure that there is excellent patient throughput and exemplary customer service.
