Job Description:

A company in Port Washington , WI is looking for a Quality Inspector for a 3rd shift opportunity.

Responsibilities:

• Read and follow the production order


• Visually inspect to ensure that the production line is using the correct raw materials for the specific run


• Complete logs, audits, and other documentation in real-time using 'paper and pen'


• Use math skills, rulers, and other devices to ensure the components are the correct size and weight


• Identify issues, defects, or out of spec problems with in process and finished goods in real-time


• Communicate deficiencies and defects of personnel and the product to the correct supervisor or machine operator. This position requires good communication and observation skills

• High school diploma or GED


• One year of experience working in a similar role


• Strong attention to detail


• Basic math skills


• Ability to read and interpret documents


• Knowledgeable in manufacturing processes
