As an RN Infection Prevention Control Officer (IPCO) at Arbor Trail Rehab & Skilled Nursing, you will apply knowledge of CDC guidelines, Joint Commission standards, occupational health standards, and federal and state regulations related to infection prevention and control in skilled nursing facilities. You will be responsible for the administration of the center wide Infection Prevention Program, which includes among other functions the identification, investigation, reporting, prevention and control of center acquired infections among residents, staff and guests. Qualifications:
• Associate’s Degree in Nursing (ASN) or above required
• Two (2) years’ or more experience as an Infection Preventionist OR relevant healthcare experience with knowledge of patient care practices, infection prevention, infectious diseases, or related.
• Completion of the CDC Nursing Homes Infection Prevention training progam within 1 week from date of hire
• APIC CIC Certification a plus
