Job Description:

Cherokee Nation Entertainment (CNE) is the retail, gaming, entertainment, hospitality and cultural tourism entity of the Cherokee Nation. CNE operates ten casinos in Claremore, Fort Gibson, Ramona, Roland, Sallisaw, Tahlequah, Tulsa, West Siloam Springs, South Coffeyville, and Grove as well as two Cherokee Travel Plaza and convenience store, numerous restaurants and entertainment venues, six retail smoke shops, nine gift shops, two golf courses, two tourism welcome centers, four museums, three hotels, two horse racing tracks and KOA RV campground.

SUMMARY

Upholds the highest standards of cleanliness, ensuring food preparation areas are clean and sanitary. Washes dishes, pots, pans, and glassware (both by hand and automated machine).

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Includes the following:

• Upholds cleanliness standards for kitchen operations, equipment, and tools.
• Maintains safe and sanitary work environment.
• Replenishes food items for the Buffet.
• Ensures excellent quality of food is served to all guests.
• Manage multiple projects without having direct supervisory responsibilities.
• Performs other job-related duties as assigned.

Requires a minimum of 1 year of related experience. Should have specific back of the house (kitchen) experience and knowledge of kitchen equipment standards of operation.

• Must obtain a Cherokee Nation Food Handler's Certificate.

Work requires frequent standing, walking, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, and balancing. Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. Frequent exposure to extreme cold, extreme heat, moisture, smoke, and toxic/caustic chemicals.
