The Role:

Under the strategic direction of the GM for Koolaburra by Ugg, the Senior Marketing Manager will be responsible for developing the brand communication, go-to-market & digital marketing strategies and implementation for KB across all channels and markets. The position is responsible for developing seasonal launch plans, including advertising, digital brand marketing (ecomm, social media, mobile, content, emerging media), brand partnerships, events, and Koolaburra.com. These responsibilities are inclusive, but not limited to leading media planning, contract negotiations, launch initiatives, and working cross-functionally with team to impact and implement premium brand collaborations, retail marketing, key account strategies and public relations.

Your Impact 

The primary functions of this role, include but are not limited to:


  • Creation and implementation of seasonal and product launch go-to-market initiatives including both sell-in and sell through resources. Core responsibilities include digital/social, advertising, partnerships, content strategy and creation. Works in close partnership with GM, Sales, PR and Product managers on integrated marketing plans and implementation.

  • Key stakeholder to the creative development & production of tools – including briefing all GTM and Digital needs for brand assets/photoshoots/etc for seasonal campaigns, brand content needs, launch initiatives and ongoing programs/products. Will also be responsible for seasonal lifestyle photo shoots. 

  • Leverage consumer insight as well as digital know-how to recommend brand building digital executions. Develop and implement strategy across multiple digital disciplines including social media, digital creative, content production, eCRM, mobile and emerging spaces. Drive content strategy & calendar based on consumer & digital insights. Collaborate with entire brand team and brand partners to collect and develop content to disseminate on social media, digital advertising, KB.com, wholesale ecomm sites and online partners/influencers.

  • Concepts and assists in production (with support from outside agencies) to manage and execute delivery of brand content and video strategy to deliver on the brand ‘storyteller’ promise in partnership.

  • Collaborate with producer for KB.com to ensure the brand’s digital presence is consistent and correct across digital platforms with regard to web design, email campaigns and content. Lead team in development of content calendars for KB.com to create seamless integration of digital marketing and ecommerce.

  • Leverages media partners, influencers, ambassadors, brand partners, etc. to collect and develop content to support our digital/PR/media syndication strategy.

  • Acts as the cross-functional category authority and communications hub for product, marketing, consumer insights and sales/business objectives for all product launches.

  • Manages programs through to delivery in market in partnership with international regions, PR, and Trade Mktg. 

  • Communicates and coordinates with internal stakeholders (product, sales, marketing, and international) to gather requirements and develop project plans for the category, concepts, initiatives and digital.

  • Manages multiple interdependent timelines and distributes ongoing documentation of project plans with internal and international teams.

  • Integrated in strategic planning of seasonal campaigns and launch initiatives with brand management.

  • Monitors best in class activities for adoption into the brand’s plan.

  • Bachelor’s Degree Required

  • Marketing or Business major desired

  • A leader and builder of people. Polished communicator and presenter.

  • Outstanding skills in follow up, time and priority management. Proven skills as both a teammate and leader.

  • Proactive style in identifying and acting on both opportunities and issues within the business.

  • A leader in their area who can also work as individual contributor within a larger team.

  • Thorough background and proven results in the digital media and social media consumer marketing space.

  • Skilled in the interpersonal dynamics of large organizations, both at the customer and brand level.

  • Proficient in PowerPoint, Excel, Word
