Encadria Staffing Solutions is currently hiring for Production Technicians for Georgia Pacific in Mount Holly, NC.
A Day In The Life Typically Includes:
* Learning multiple operator functions to operate equipment to expected performance levels
* Making sure machines are set up properly and performing optimally, and troubleshooting and adjusting equipment as needed
* Working as a team to help meet or exceed production, waste and quality goals
* Performing basic asset care duties and routine preventative maintenance on equipment
* Adhering to all plant safety and environmental guidelines, policies and procedures while proactively seeking out potential safety hazards
* Cleaning the work area throughout shift to ensure an orderly and safe environment
What You Will Need:
Basic Qualifications:
* High school diploma or GED
* Experience utilizing computer systems and/or databases
* Willing and able to work twelve (12) hour shift that includes weekends, holidays and overtime
* Willing and able to work in a hot, humid, cold, and noisy industrial environment
* Willing and able to perform tasks such as lifting, walking, climbing, stooping, standing, pushing and/or pulling for at least twelve (12) hours a day
* Willing and able to maintain strict adherence to safety rules and regulations, including wearing safety equipment
* Willing and able to lift at least 50 pounds
What Will Put You Ahead*
Preferred Qualifications:
* One (1) year or more of experience in a manufacturing or an industrial environment
Job Type: Temporary with the opportunity to be hired full time
