Primary Location: 495 Keller Rd, Maitland, FL, USA Division: Cox Automotive Job Level: Individual Contributor Travel: No Schedule: Full-time Shift: Day Job Requisition Number: 202000910 Cox Automotive is currently looking for a Senior Payroll Analyst to join our team in Maitland, Florida. Job Summary: The Senior Payroll Analyst reports to the Senior Manager, Payroll and is responsible for providing the highest level of quality assurance through analyzing, auditing and validating payroll transactions. This role requires independent thinking and actions and must understand the pay practices of all Cox Automotive supported businesses. The Senior Payroll Analyst is responsible for reviewing and implementing process efficiency improvements while minimizing operational risk. Effective collaboration with other ESC Capabilities, HRTS, HRBPs, Finance and Corporate departments is an ongoing requirement Your Role: Anticipate, design and execute needed audits based on business activities Analyze payroll processing transactions using technology in the form of reports/macros Perform data audits to detect deficiencies, duplications or non-compliance with laws, regulations and internal polices Prepare and distribute detailed reports on audit findings Develops solutions to complex problems that require frequent use of creativity Support payroll change initiatives from optimizing payroll practices and data, adding in new employee groups, deploying new systems and processes Document new processes in collaboration with payroll team and ensure processes are put in place Participate in payroll related projects, performs system testing, acts a subject matter expert Load pay files to payroll, review errors and ensure transactions are balanced Assist fellow team members, customers and employees with complex payroll transactions Proactively identify potential problems and offer solution options Qualifications: Bachelor s Degree in related field and 5 years experience in a service center environment with HRIS, HR Audit or high-volume payroll processing; or an equivalent combination of education and work-related experience. High proficiency in payroll operations, processing and control/audit principles Advanced excel skills and proficient on all other office applications Excellent framework thinking where service model is understood and applied (self-service, content alignment) Proficient computer, analytical, research and problem-solving skills Attention to detail, time management and organizational skills required Excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills required Query writing experience preferred Multi-state payroll experience in shared services environment preferred Experience with PeopleSoft HCM and Kronos preferred Other duties as needed or required Requires physical ability and mental acuity to execute the duties of the position successfully within required timeframes in order to meet business requirement #LI-279 Who We Are About Cox Automotive There s nothing ordinary about Cox Automotive.
