DescriptionAs a Production Technician on 2nd OR 3rd shift in the Cuff Department, you will provide technical support on increasingly complex and varied assignments for Cuff Assembly. Your strong analytical skills will allow you to resolve manufacturing issues and perform real-time trouble shooting to determine causes and recommend actions.


Key Responsibilities:


* Electro/mechanical expertise will aid you in troubleshooting, testing and repairing malfunctions in components and production equipment.

* Ability to design and conduct tests and experiments, including proposed modifications to components, equipment and procedures, will support continuous improvement efforts. Your primary responsibility will be the troubleshooting and repair of production components.

* Assist in the development of test methods, procedures and inspection requirements for components and assemblies, as well as, perform equipment repairs, preventative maintenance and assist with floor support.


* Through establishing internal relationships with Engineering and Quality Assurance, you will exchange information, resolve real time issues, and help solve longer term problems.

* Extracting and compiling engineering data will enable you to determine applicability, accuracy, and reasonableness of that data through routine analysis.


* Assist in the planning process for test and prototype design and/or have responsibility for complete projects in areas of your technical expertise.

* Collaborative team player, capable of receiving initial instructions, equipment requirements, and advice from your production group leader, supervisor, manager or engineering.

* A crucial aspect of this position will be applying lean manufacturing and six sigma improvement processes to all projects and assignments.

* Be an active member of production improvement teams.

Qualifications* Associates degree in Electrical Technology. 1-year of experience in Production.

* Demonstrated knowledge of relative tools and measuring devices such as multi-meters, calipers, micrometers, and pin gauges.

* Computer skills include the ability to read spreadsheets, trends, data analysis, etc.

* Communication skills and can interact across departments, including outside suppliers and services and are able to adapt to an ever-changing work environment.

* Must be able to lift 40 lbs. and able to be on your feet 80%-90% of the time. Ability to work overtime as needed.
