THE OPPORTUNITY

Marvell s Custom ASIC Business Unit is looking for an intern to develop chip-level solutions for our customers by helping to identify and evaluate silicon IP products based on customer requirements. Day-to-day responsibilities will involve working with a broad, experienced team to understand customer needs, evaluate options to meet those needs, and define cost/benefit trade-offs to find the best solution. This position will work on high-end, complex custom silicon designs and present results to executive management on a regular basis. Additional responsibilities may involve documenting solutions for future use and potential tool development to enable more efficient responses to customer requests.

The ideal candidate will have a background in Electrical Engineering and interest in semiconductor design and manufacturing. Experience with digital logic or analog/mixed-signal design and verification is a plus.

Responsibilities:

* Understand the requirements of the product

* Develop IP solutions based on customer requirements

* Document and present solutions to business and executive teams

Minimum Qualifications:

* Candidate MUST be currently pursuing a BS/MS (preferred) degree in EE or related technical field(s)

* 0-1 years of previous experience

Preferred Qualifications:

* Design and Development experience, pursuing an MS in EE and good verbal and written communication skills

* Good understanding of digital logic or analog circuit design

* Programming Skills in C/C++/C#, Python, and/or other languages

* Strong problem-solving and teamwork skills
