SENIOR MANAGER, TALENT AND INFLUENCER MARKETING
Meredith's Talent and Influencer Marketing Team is a full-service talent procurement department that provides our clients turnkey talent solutions and access to the people and stories that most align with Meredith's DNA and those who will add the greatest impact to our partners' campaigns.
The Role
Meredith is seeking a Senior Manger, Talent and Influencer Marketing to work with the Talent Team. This role will provide support to Foundry @ Meredith, the publisher's in-house creative agency and content studio. Working in a pre-sale ideation and sourcing capacity as well as a post-sale procurement and management role, the Senior Manager will manage talent-centric programs end to end.
The main responsibilities of this role include:
- Execute and manage talent-led programs. Program management includes:
- Source and secure talent (celebrities, influencers, inspirational heroes, etc.) for RFPs and large- scale branded/native marketing campaigns
- Negotiate talent fees with agents, managers and influencers/talent directly
- Work with legal and finance teams to draft talent contracts and coordinate payments
- Arrange travel, plan logistics, and coordinate talent riders for shoots where applicable
- Work closely with photo/video teams to coordinate talent-led remote shoots
- Develop and manage talent timelines as part of large-scale marketing programs
- Attend photo/video shoots and manage talent needs on-set (as needed, including remote shoots)
- Distribute call sheets and photo/video treatment documents to talent, schedule calls to review pre-production details with talent/agents
- Collaborate with creative strategists to pitch talent-led campaigns to prospective clients. Pre-sale ideation includes:
- Quickly and efficiently source potential talent options based on program concept, scope and budget
- Represent the talent team capabilities in client/agency-facing meetings and pitches
- Work with Meredith editorial brands to ensure talent options represent editorial brand ethos
- Activate Influencer campaigns and manage post-campaign evaluation, using measurement tools to track performance metrics
- Ensure FTC compliance for influencer-led programs and executions
The Ideal Candidate:
- Prior experience with talent booking or influencer management
- Understanding of the media landscape a plus
- Familiarity with FTC and SAG/AFTRA guidelines a plus
- Production (photo and/or video) experience or familiarity a plus
- Should be detail-oriented, able to work well under pressure and adhere to tight deadlines
- Must be able to juggle multiple projects with changing priorities
- Must possess excellent communication, writing, and organization skills
