Job Description:

PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

The Functional Analyst (FAYLST-H) will provide on-site data analysis and technical expertise for Signals Intelligence (SIGINT) and Electronic Warfare (EW) Programmatic, Systems, Testing, Exercise, and Operational initiatives in support of Marine Corps Systems Command (MCSC) in collaboration with the Marine Corps Office (MCO) at the National Security Agency (NSA), Fort Meade, Maryland

- Support the application of DoD 5000.01/02 and MCSC Acquisition processes and procedures to plan and execute Acquisition Programs

- Serve as a technical expert for MCSC and MCO regarding MCSC SIGINT/EW internal data architecture, SIGINT/EW data file types, and interoperability with NSA/CSS and joint architectures as required

- Support Analysis and Testing efforts to identify, quantify and develop data automation or other processes to enhance SIGINT/EW architecture Concepts of Operation/Concepts of Employment

- Inform MCSC of insight gained by routine exposure supporting the FMF of dataflow challenges and requirements regarding Programs of Record (PoRs) and other SIGINT/EW systems

- Provide technical dataflow support to the FMF and standardized processes for long-term MCSC implementation

- Proactively engage with NSA equities regarding data format requirements, management, and emerging architecture changes that will impact MCSC SIGINT/EW system data ingestion into national repositories

- Maintain Subject Matter Expertise on SIGINT/EW system data formats, Family of SIGINT System data architecture, and MCSC SIGINT/EW system hardware and software interoperability configurations

- Contribute to MCSC SIGINT/EW team collaboration regarding dataflow optimization, system architecture configuration, and other technical discussions as required

- Track assigned documentation and correspondence to ensure on-time completion, adjudication and/or approval

- Research, draft, and maintain a technical diagram illustrating detailed systems architectures between front end MCSC SIGINT/EW systems, internal MCSC system interoperability, and enterprise data repositories across all relevant networks and domains

- Contribute to technical manuals, training materials, and support other programmatic documents relating to MCSC dataflow and data architecture for maximizing FMF data sharing and ingestion

- Attend data science venues and participate in data management discussions within NSA/CSS

- Support and lead test or exercise events to include observation and recording; data collection, storage, reduction, and analysis; performance measurements; problem identification; and report or presentation preparation

- Travel to various CONUS or OCONUS locations, to include hostile or austere environments as may be required
