Job Description:

Outstanding opportunity to join the Global Reference Laboratory product management team of a growing biotech company that was recently added to the S&P 500 and the NASDAQ-100 Index.
The Business Analyst II will join a team shaping the future of the Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS) at IDEXX. IDEXX's custom platform, LYNXX, is rapidly growing and innovating and we need good people to help guide the software realization process. Job Summary
- Will perform analysis of business goals, objectives, and needs.
- Analyze business-oriented projects where software may be part of the process or solution.
- Plan and design business processes and make recommendations and changes in order to improve and support business activities, software and systems.
- Utilize data and systems to resolve business issues in the most effective and productive manner.
- Elicit, analyze, validate and document business, organizational and/or operational requirements.
- Assist and lead projects and teams.
- Introduce improvements to our software realization process based on both past experiences and industry best practices

Requirements
- Bachelors Degree in Business, Marketing or Science; or an equivalent combination of related education and experience. Masters Degree, a plus.
- 4-6+ years of related professional business experience, project management experience, and/or related product experience.
- Ability to translate business process or concepts into technical requirements (and vice versa).
- Ability to define functional and non-functional requirements based on the needs of the users.
- Solid financial management and analysis skills.
- Solid project management skills and abilities.
- Ability to manage and prioritize across multiple initiatives.
- Ability to lead cross-functional teams in a matrix environment.

Preferences:
- IIBA Certification or Business Analyst Professional, a plus
- Experience in business modeling and process engineering preferred.
- Business or systems experience within the functional area a plus.
- Knowledge and experience in the health care industry a plus.
