We are looking for an exceptional Project Engineer to join us in at our Fitchburg, MA project site.
What you'll be doing: You will support the evaluation, design, construction, and operation of facilities relating to environmental remediation systems including but not limited to excavation, air sparge, biosparge, bioventing, pump and treat, and various other technologies to provide environmental engineering consulting services to the firm's municipal and industrial sector clients. You will work with multi-disciplinary teams, oftentimes across regional offices, using your excellent communication skills. You will provide technical support and lead field activities on a variety of tasks, including:
- Field sampling
- Field Operation and Maintenance of remedial systems
- Client, subcontractor, and regulatory liaison
- Construction oversight/management
- Design drawings and specifications
- Technical reports
- Traveling to project sites and other Kennedy Jenks offices
If you are safety-focused, technically strong, have exceptional communication and organizational skills, are comfortable with a fast pace, and have a client-service perspective, and enjoy leading a team, you will thrive here.
Depending upon client requirements, this position may be subject to drug testing before starting work at the client site and randomly thereafter.
Requirements:
- BS or MS in Civil or Environmental Engineering, or similar engineering field
- At least three years of related experience
- EIT or PE license
- Ability to travel frequently
- Ability to work both independently and in a team environment
- Strong attention to detail with excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities
- Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record
Preferred Qualifications or Expertise
- Technical writing
- AutoCAD Civil 3D
- ArcGIS
- 40-hour HAZWOPER trained
