Job Description
The Head of Diversity and Inclusion serves as a member of the HR Leadership Team and is responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining Meredith Corporation's diversity, equity and inclusion program across all locations and businesses, in-line with business objectives.

Essential Job Functions

15%- Partner with the SVP, Human Resources on the development of the company's diversity strategy based on stakeholder needs/input and external analysis of best-in-class approaches, trends, and initiatives. Update company policies as needed to align with the company's over-arching strategy. Design key performance indicators (KPI's) to track results and communicate those results to HR, business leadership and employees regularly.
10%- Collaborate with Human Resources, and Corporation Communication/PR team members to ensure that Meredith is recognized as an employer of choice where all employees feel welcomed, supported and empowered to build successful careers.
20%- Collaborate with HR team members to ensure that our candidate attraction and selection strategies align with the company's diversity, equity and inclusion initiatives and increase our diverse candidate pipeline and candidate slates to meet our established KPI's.
20%- Identify training opportunities to increase awareness of the value of diversity in the workplace, the removal of bias, and the importance of an inclusive culture. Develop and deliver training to facilitate employee perceptions and behaviors. Identify and engage external partners to help support our training needs where applicable.
15%- Partner with HR and Meredith's Senior Leadership Team to ensure diversity goals are incorporated into our employee career growth and development; talent assessment; and succession planning strategies and that results are tracked in our diversity KPI's.
5%- Stay abreast of trends, external partnership opportunities, technology, and tools to support Meredith's diversity initiatives. Represent Meredith externally as a thought leader on all D&I matters including participation in forums, events and press opportunities.
10%- Provide leadership and support to Meredith's Employee Resource Groups, assisting them in achieving their established goals and objectives, facilitating access to senior leadership, and coordinating events and other offerings across the organization that align with our diversity, equity and inclusion strategies. Gather feedback from participants and refine approaches to allow our ERG's to continuously evolve and effectively support the organization.
5%- Other duties as assigned by the SVP of Human Resources.

Minimum Qualifications and Job Requirements | All must be met to be considered.

Education:
4-year degree in Human Resources, Business Management, or a related field. An equivalent combination of education and experience is acceptable

Experience:
Minimum of 7 years of Human Resources experience with at least 3 years directly involved in driving a company's Diversity and Inclusion strategies

Specific Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Strong Oral and Written Communication skills
Must have strong negotiation/influence skills
PC skills including HRIS, payroll, MS Office applications, and database management
Must be able to deliver results in a consultative and collaborative manner
Must be able to manage multiple projects and shift priorities was customer needs change
Ability and desire to take on new and unfamiliar tasks and assignments
Must be an effective leader with the ability to create effective change
Must be able to work both on a team or independently and exercise good judgment
Must be an effective problem solver
Must have past experience developing and delivering impactful training to a team or group
