Job Description:

JOB SUMMARY: This role is a critical component to the continued successful growth of our organization. Responsible for working with the Executive M&A team to develop M&A strategy, select acquisition targets, conduct due diligence on target companies, executing transactions, and supporting the integration of completed acquisitions. Work with both members of the C-suite team and private equity investor, who are seasoned professionals, as well as be exposed to many of the top business and scientific leaders in the healthcare and life sciences industry. This position is highly visible among senior management, the board of directors, and key investors.
EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 2-4 years of experience in investment banking, private equity, mergers & acquisitions, corporate development, or another related field.
QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE:
- Corporate finance and basic accounting knowledge are required.
- Track record of assuming increased levels of responsibility.
- Ability to influence decisions through clear, data-driven analysis and cogent presentation.
- Capacity to work independently in an entrepreneurial environment, receiving minimal instruction on routine work, and general instruction on new assignments
- Quick learner who is self-motivated with a strong sense of urgency and \\"going the extra mile.\\"
- Adaptive to change.
- Comfort with presenting financial information to groups.
- Demonstrated ability to follow established policies and procedures as well as effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Effective organization, planning and interpersonal skills.
- Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel & PowerPoint.

- Support the process of selecting prospective M&A candidates and strategic partners.
- Build financial models to support analyses.
- Manage due diligence and analyses of M&A opportunities.
- Support the execution of M&A and strategic partnership transactions.
- Support integrations of acquisitions.
- Other duties as assigned. These may, on occasion, be unrelated to the position described here.
- Attendance and punctuality are essential functions of the position.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: None
TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS: Travel is anticipated between 10-20%
