Job Description
The Director, B2B Marketing will provide leadership, guidance and supervision of the B2B marketing efforts across the Synapse Group Properties, which includes Synapse Group Inc., Bizrate Insights, and MyLife. This person will be responsible for evangelizing our Solutions, Products and Services to new and existing B2B clients across our companies by developing and overseeing the marketing roadmap, voice, and content as well as the day to day management of the B2B marketing team.

The ideal candidate is passionate about marketing and willing to take a hands-on approach. You will work closely with the executive team to develop and execute the marketing strategy across the organization and will report to the VP - Marketing. This role is key to driving revenue and ensuring retention of current clients by supporting both the Sales and Client Development teams across the organization.

Responsibilities:
- Develop and drive the marketing strategy and tactics from awareness through to conversion to drive qualified traffic to our front door
- Lead the marketing team in key initiatives to reach strategic objectives
- Strategize on channel focus, paid promotion opportunities and partnerships to propose a draft marketing budget
- Design & implement the B2B marketing roadmap from the ground up by building audience profiles, customer segmentation and strategies to target key audiences for each business line
- Supervise the content and output of all client-facing sales and marketing campaigns from inception to delivery to ensure content in on brand and drives engagement
- Oversee the content strategy and team to ensure engaging, click-worthy content for online channels including website, blog, landing pages, email, social media, online publications and PPC campaigns that attract and convert our target groups to build a lead pipeline
- Direct digital/social team to grow awareness and engagement with our content across social media accounts: Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn & Instagram
- Deploy successful marketing campaigns by owning implementation from ideation to execution
- Measure and report on campaign performance, assessment against goals, optimize and provide key insights to President and Executive Team
- Update and maintain client-facing websites to engage customers, optimize the experience and create a lead engine for our Account Management team
- Drive the strategy for organic and paid acquisition channels - content creation, content curation, pay per click campaigns, event management, publicity, social media, lead generation campaigns, copywriting and emails including performance analysis
- Build, maintain and manage strategic relationships with key industry partners/analysts and technology vendors to generate impression for our solutions
- Build a high-performing team and lead the team using agile marketing methodologies including daily stand ups and prioritization meetings

Skills & Qualifications:
- 8-10 years of marketing experience
- Experience mentoring and managing a team at various skill levels comprised of design, content, email and digital members
- Willingness to \\"roll up your sleeves\\" as needed and seek solutions
- Digital marketing expertise including establishing KPIs to drive ROI, increasing organic presence in a competitive marketplace, demonstrating SEO best practice, managing SEM campaigns, social media marketing, pay-per-click advertising, email marketing and marketing automation.
- Working knowledge of Salesforce and integration with Pardot and lead integrations (ex: LinkedIn campaign manager)
- Experience developing websites from ideation to launch including CX strategy, wire frames, content development, copy and lead capture techniques
- Solid knowledge of website analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics and Pardot reporting)
- Experience in managing and optimizing Google Ad campaigns
- Proven experience in identifying, defining and engaging B2B audiences
- A love for personalized and engaging content, a sense of aesthetics and challenging the UX/UI team best practices
- Clear communication, with a focus on written communication via email, blog posts, website content
- Experience in owning and managing email campaigns with expertise in subject lines, A/B testing, personalization, segmentation and content to maximize open and response rates
- Self-starter with big picture perspective while maintain a keen eye for detail
- Strong project management skills and ability to manage competing priorities
- Intimate understanding of traditional and emerging marketing channels and their impact on ROI
- Familiarity and passion for the latest trends, technologies and methodologies to reward customers with personalized experiences
- Bachelor's Degree or higher in a business-related or marketing field
- eCommerce and retail experience a plus
