Job Description Summary:
We are looking for a product manager to own a portion of the Rackspace Data Services product portfolio. You will manage the roadmap and feature set of one or more database or advanced analytics products in the portfolio, assist the marketing team with collateral generation, launch activities and marketing assets, engage with prospects and customers to gather insights, and act as the day-to-day manager for your product.

What will you be doing? You will be focused on becoming the Subject Matter Expert for your product and driving the product forward including:
Managing the backlog and Agile SCRUM processes for your product.
Performing market research to inform the roadmap and understand the competition.
Supporting sales on customer calls to help win deals and gather customer feedback.
Analyzing business metrics to evaluate the success of your product.
Generating and reviewing content to promote the company and product both internally and externally.
Building a roadmap based on customer feedback, support feedback, industry trends, and other research.
Develop a build/buy/partner framework for evaluating how to fill product gaps.
Develops business cases for new offerings.
Driving requirements back to other teams that support your product.
Inspiring and motivating the other members of the team to deliver the greatest possible product. About You/Requirements:
5-8 years of product management experience, with a proven track record of product ownership and success in growing products..
SaaS, IT, database, or computer hardware/software product experience.
Experience working in and with Agile/SCRUM development environments.
Independent and Responsible - You love to be given a task and OWN IT without continuous oversight. You love the responsibility of being the owner of a product and consistently deliver results without having to be asked..

Able to collaborate effectively with stakeholders and act as a strategic partner in product portfolio decisions.
Bachelor's Degree required. A degree in a technical/data-related field or MBA desired.
