The Student Services Representative Contractor answers and resolves inbound/outbound sales and service telephone calls in accordance with Call Center performance standards and metrics, and also provides customer support via other methods

Essential Functions: The below statements are intended to describe the general nature and scope of work being performed by this position. - Takes care of inbound and outbound calls of a lesser complexity that are primarily routine or basic in nature.

- Follows basic procedures and scripts, using fundamental knowledge to navigate company's customer information systems and/or order system along with a basic knowledge of company, services, and products.

- Responds to customer questions, explains available services, corrects errors, provides information on pricing, takes orders, develops leads, and/or sells products and services.

- Passes more complex customer inquiries to higher level Call Center Representatives.

- Meet sales goals and acceptable refund percentages.

- Adhere to the attendance policy guidelines.

Supervisory Responsibilities: This position has no formal supervisory responsibilities.

Minimum Required Qualifications:

- High School Diploma or General Educational Development (GED) certificate

Certificates and Licenses: None required.

Other Required Qualifications:

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to assimilate business policies and processes into practice

- Strong customer service focus

- Team player with positive, outgoing, flexible attitude

- Ability to multi-task, while keeping to a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail

- Strong ability and initiative to solve problems

- Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Visio, etc.); Web proficiency.

- Reliable high speed internet access

- Ability to pass required background check
