Big Data Engineer

Location - Santa Clara, CA

Roles/Responsibilities

• To design the solutions for multiple large data warehouses in big data environment utilizing the parallel architecture and appropriate technology stack.


• Setting up and handling the Hadoop cluster and to build overall data architecture.


• To work with various business units to identify the requirements and build technical specification documents and corresponding date models.


• To perform various proof of concepts to test the ideas and technology capabilities and subsequently drives these concepts into real solutions.

Required Qualifications (5 – 8 bullet points on must have skills)

• 8-10 Years of Overall IT experience


• Should have extensive experience on BigData & Analytics solutions like Hadoop, Hive, Spark, Spark SQL Storm, AWS (EMR, Redshift, S3, glue, Snowflake etc.), Data Lake Design, Machine learning (Sagemaker, Tensorflow)


• Should be able to demonstrate work experience in hive/Impala and Spark.


• Strong spark hands on skill a must. Working knowledge of Python, shell scripting and bash.


• Must have work experience in Hadoop as data warehouse/data lake implementations.


• 8-10 Years of Overall IT experience


• Senior Hadoop developer with focus on BI on Hadoop


• Should be able to demonstrate work experience in hive/Impala and Spark.


• Strong spark hands on skill a must. Working knowledge of Python, shell scripting and bash.


• Must have work experience in Hadoop as data warehouse/data lake implementations.
