Opportunity Overview
The Branch Measures System Analyst is responsible for partnering with various areas within Branch Development to provide project support and data analysis by leveraging technology and tools in order to gather requirements, build, test and deliver reporting solutions to achieve business needs.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide analysis that facilitates the transformation of raw and/or summarized data into information and insights.
Liaison between IS and other divisional stakeholders to maintain, enhance or integrate Branch Measurement systems and data by driving functional requirements, quality and analytical capabilities for existing systems.
Provide moderately complex system prototypes, processes and data flows in support of enhancing existing Branch Measurements tools
Create and maintain Measurements data definitions library
Maintain Measurements intranet website for field and internal divisions
Execute and present written and verbal Branch Measurement systems analysis including business case development, process and data flows prototypes to influence business decisions for existing systems.
Provide second level technical support for measurement tools
Document, monitor and improve data processes and controls
Provide business leadership for enhancement sized efforts
Be responsible for Branch Measurements business and technical knowledge of processes and systems.
Mentor less experienced associates
Understand key FA measurements and impacts of change to the key measurements
Build solutions to meet business area requirements using technologies such as APEX, Tableau, Hyperion, Qualtrics, Microsoft Office, VBA, etc.
Take constructive action with direction from others; leader reviews moderate and high--risk outputs
Position Requirements
Bachelor's degree is required with emphasis in Computer Science or MIS strongly preferred (or relevant work experience).
2+ years' experience creating, supporting and maintaining functional systems and data.
Intermediate analysis skills, primarily investigating and explaining variances and changes in trends. Ability to complete structured impact analysis.
The ability to multi-task and work independently and with leader to prioritize assigned tasks / projects.
Business systems analysis skills to drive functional systems in collaboration with IS resources.
Proven ability to be a functional lead on enhancement sized, complex efforts.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office tools, SQL, HTML, VBA and other firm data extraction/visualization tools.
Troubleshooting skills primarily investigating and explaining trends and variances.
Associate must have the ability to work independently and in a team environment.
Ability to effectively communicate with team members and up to division leaders using verbal, written and presentations skills.
Ability to summarize measurement information and concepts and clearly communicate to divisional leadership.
Understanding of data warehouse concepts.
Ability to execute pre-existing project plans and create new project plans and work multiple moderately complex efforts concurrently
