Summary & Scope :

The Proposal Specialist will be the right hand for our Account Executives as they build decks, media plans and stories for Client pitches. The ideal candidate will need to have strong writing skills and graphic design skills. They will be able to turn an idea and concept into a compelling sales deck to help Account Executives close business. This role will require multi-tasking and good time management skills.

A passion for our brands - HOT97, WBLS-FM and WLIB-AM is very important. We are looking for someone who is passionate about what we are selling. Authenticity is key!

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Help Account Executives and Sales Managers build proposals for Clients including deck creation, data gathering and storytelling
  
  


• Create packages for sales opportunities
  
  


• Create recaps for executed Client campaigns including gathering of data and creation of deck
  
  


• Create media plans
  
  


• Basic graphic design needs for Sales department
  
  


• Other projects and tasks as assigned by Sales Managers

  Education and/or Experience:

  
  

  Minimum BA or BS plus 3-5 years work experience building proposals and/or doing graphic design work. Ideal candidate will be creative, good at storytelling, have attention to detail and problem solving skills.

  
  

  Language Skills :

  
  

  Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.

  
  

  Other Skills and Abilities :

  
  

  Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite including PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook and Word. Knowledge of Adobe Creative suite, Slack, DropBox, Nielsen, Marketron and Operative all a plus.
