SUMMARY

CN3S is seeking a Sr. Principle Analyst to support our business transformation efforts of Army G-4 to achieve readiness at best value through increased effectiveness and efficiency, reduced costs, and maximized use of limited resources.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Includes the following:


  • Provide policy analysis and compliance review to achieve and maintain Enterprise-level visibility of Army major equipment and general property assets from initial receipt through disposal to enable Army to meet congressionally mandated audit requirements that support the financial statement assertions of accuracy, existence and completeness.
  • Provide recommendations that comply with federal accounting standards and guidance and build consensus across key stakeholders and synchronize Corrective Action Plans (CAPs) to resolve issues identified by the independent public accountant during General Equipment (GE) Existence & Completeness (E&C) audits.
  • Develop continuous validation processes and metric reporting to measure effectiveness of training, policy (specifically analyze and determine if there is a lack of compliance to OSD or Army policy) and ERP system changes aimed at improving capital asset accountability, financial reporting to include the identification of second and third order impacts.

SUPERVISORY/MANAGEMENT AUTHORITY


  • N/A

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE


  • Bachelor' s Degree required
  • Ten (10) to fifteen (15) years of experience in managing and consulting for organizations with a focus in audit and life cycle accountability.
  • Experience in Army contracting and logistics.
  • Experience in property accountability and physical inventory with the Army preferred.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES


  • Knowledge and/or experience with record to floor, floor to record audits and Notice of Findings and Recommendations.
  • Strong analytical and research skills.
  • Must be a self-starter and able to operate effectively with limited guidance.
  • Ability to identify gaps in the business processes and keep track of all changes as it relates to inventory and audits.
  • Must have excellent customer service and multi-tasking skills
  • Ability to effectively communicate both orally (in common English narration) and in writing (to include technical documentation).
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, work under pressure and tight deadlines, work independently and work in a team environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office with emphasis on Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, other applicable database and office automation products, to include Adobe Pro and Project Management software.
  • Ability to work in a remote environment as needed.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance. Active Secret clearance highly preferred.
