I. Job Summary | Major goals and objectives.
Meredith Corporation is seeking a strong Associate Director, Human Resources. The ideal candidate will plan, develop, direct and implement specific HR strategies that align with corporate and brand business objectives, serving as the lead HR partner for multiple client groups.

II. Essential Job Functions
Weight % Accountabilities, Actions and Expected Measurable Results

40%Strategically partner with brand stakeholders on talent attraction, employee engagement, performance management, legal compliance, compensation/benefits planning, organizational design and critical communications.Oversee all onboarding and culture initiatives.
20%Spearhead learning and development, diversity and inclusion and retention strategies for client groups.
20%Provide counsel and direction to leadership on employee relations and conflict resolution matters.Work in concert with the Corporate HR and legal department as necessary.
10%Advocate Corporate level policies & practices in support of client groups.
10%Develop and maintain effective working relationships with business group leadership, location personnel, outside legal counsel, HR leadership team peers, and Corporate Management.

III. Minimum Qualifications and Job Requirements | All must be met to be considered.
Education: Bachelor's degree
Experience: 5-6 years of HR Generalist experience required. Prior experience in the digital, media, advertising or the start-up space is highly preferred. Prior talent acquisition experience required.

- Systems proficiency - HRIS, ATS, etc. Experience with Workday highly preferred
- Ability to manage multiple projects and shift priorities as customer needs change
- Initiative and desire to take on new and unfamiliar tasks and assignments
- Ability to work on teams as well as independently
- Outstanding judgment

- Highly collaborative
