We are currently hiring a Learning & Development Lead, Packaging in Breinigsville, PA.

The Learning and Development Lead will drive the creation, delivery, and continuous improvement of programs to improve workforce capabilities that align with business and people needs. This individual will apply his/her expertise in adult learning to ensure effective, efficient capability building that targets critical skills and behaviors that drive success while integrating the Boston Beer Company culture throughout.

This role will focus on leading learning and development activities for coworkers in Packaging at our PA brewery, providing program oversight and development for Packaging across breweries within our Supply Chain, and provide support to two direct reports.

What You'll Do:

- Lead learning and development activities for coworkers in Packaging at our PA brewery, provide program oversight, design, and development for Packaging across breweries within our Supply Chain, and provide support to two direct reports.

- Coach and provide tools to leadership team members for capability building.

- Build strong, collaborative working relationships with business leaders, coworkers, HR business partners, team members, vendors, and other key stakeholders.

- Proactively identify opportunities to improve workforce capabilities (skills and behaviors) to align with business needs. Conduct needs analysis and recommend solutions, utilizing a multi-facet approach (e.g. 70/20/10 model).

- Establish educational strategies and modalities to achieve targeted outcomes for identified skills and behavioral needs to ensure our solutions meet the highest possible standards for relevance, quality, and ease of use.

- Manage the design, development and/or curation of effective, modern, and engaging learning solutions; collaborate with external partners as needed on program development.

- Create curriculum for onboarding coworkers inclusive of timing/sequencing of learnings.

- Lead the delivery of solutions through course facilitation, SMEs/trainers, e-learning delivery via LMS, and other delivery methods as identified.

- Ensure training partners, project leads, SMEs/Trainers, and project team members preparedness for leading, facilitating, and supporting capability building initiatives.

- Ensure that programs are sustainable, and that accountability and success metrics are in place. Develop and implement creative methods for consistent reinforcement of learning concepts and ongoing accountability.

- Drive continuous improvement of our solutions by recommending enhancements to design, content, and implementation when appropriate.

- Collaborate with key stakeholders to facilitate adoption of new programs and improve the impact of learning solutions.

- Act as a change agent and help others develop their own change capabilities.

- Special projects as assigned

What We're Looking For:

- Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Learning and Development, or related field

- Minimum of 7-10 years of progressive learning and development experience, preferred in the food and beverage industry

- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience working in a production/manufacturing environment with proven experience designing and delivering capability building solutions. Practical knowledge in supply chain packaging, preferred.

- Proven experience working collaboratively with business leaders, coworkers, key stakeholders, team members, and vendors to design and develop effective, modern, and engaging learning solutions

- Proficient in needs assessment, instructional design, delivering/executing, measuring, auditing, and documenting training for production and salaried coworkers

- Strong project management experience with the ability to set milestones, drive execution, manage subject matter experts and stakeholders, and ensure successful integration and adoption.

- A collaborative and flexible style, with a passion for change and continuous improvement, and the ability to work well in a fast-paced environment.

- Experience with Taleo/Oracle Learn LMS and Articulate Storyline.
