Responsibilities

in this role, you will perform various duties which include, receiving functions, distribution of linen,rnsupplies, and equipment, as assigned within all facilities at UCLA HealthrnSystem in accordance with standards established by management, stocking, cleaning and organizing therninventory holding rooms and other work areas. You will be responsible for fillingrnorders, packing, delivering, creating and maintaining appropriate inventoryrndocumentation. You will perform physicalrninventory counts and accurate data entry.

This position is a support position to patient care units, clinics,rnincluding the procedural interventional, and radiology areas. Within the procedural and distribution areas,rnyou will work closely with the clinicalrnstaff to identify their needs and staging preferences. Set up and/or modify products within arnsupply management software. Place ordersrnto replenish inventory supply levels using a handheld or third party softwarernto replenish inventory to set PARS. Reconcile packing slips against orders andrndelivered content. Assess and revise PARrnlevels to accommodate changing demand as well as recommend or assist in inventory cost reduction initiatives.Qualifications

Required:

* Must be able to perform heavy manual tasks including pushing/pulling heavy linen carts up to 400 pounds

* Must be able to lift/carry and transport supplies weighing up to 50 pounds

* Ability to effectively communicate, read, write and follow verbal and written instructionsrnin English

* Ability to perform basicrnmathematical calculations; addition, subtraction, multiplication, andrndivision

* Ability to complete accuraterncalculations of inventory replenishment, weight, units of measure, and packagerncounts.

* Ability to adhere to strict deadlines andrnprotocols without continuous monitoring

Highly desired:

* Inventory management experience in a hospital or clinic and electronicrnordering using a handheld utilizing a fullyrnintegrated supply chain fulfillment software such as Lawson
