Medium Duty Service Technician (Ford/Isuzu) at Boyer Trucks in Minneapolis, Minnesota

Job Description:

The primary responsibility of technicians is to efficiently and effectively diagnose and repair medium duty Ford trucks. We are committed to your growth by providing the training and tools necessary to succeed in the Heavy Truck world.

What You Do:

• Diagnose vehicles cause of malfunction and performs repairs.


• Examine assigned vehicle to determine if further repairs are needed or recommended.


• Document in detail, work performed on repairs.


• Keep abreast of manufacturer bulletins and training as required.


• Understand and comply with all federal, state, and local regulations.


• Save and tag parts for warranty or as requested.


• Other duties to meet business requirements.

What You Bring:

• Graduation from a diesel/heavy truck tech, Ford Asset, or Ford Fact program preferred


• At least one OEM certification in process or completed preferred


• At least three years of on the job experience as a heavy truck technician preferred

Licenses Required

• B CDL or ability to obtain within 90 days

Physical demands

• Bend, twist, kneel, crouch, work overhead


• Lift to 70 pounds
