Job Description: The Compensation & Benefits Analyst is an active partner in building and supporting the benefits and compensation programs. This role will provide analytical support, process improvement and administrative support for the Compensation & Benefits function. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of compensation and/or benefits experience, attention to detail and the ability to work collaboratively within the HR Organization. Our ideal candidate is an analytically minded individual who is eager to expanded their knowledge and skill sets within HR. This role will require you to take initiative, be responsive to our HR team, our employees and our HR partners and must be able to prioritize projects and multitask.
Responsibilities:
Benefits administration which includes open enrollment, ongoing processes and insurance plan invoicing, and analysis
Benefits education – assist in training employees on our benefits during open enrollment and throughout the year.
Compensation Analysis – annual and ad hoc
Survey administration
Merit/Bonus administration
Compensation administration – support and advise on comp-related activities such as new hire offers, salary changes and transfers.
Provide front-line support for employee questions on benefits and leave process, as needed
Pull and analyze internal and external metrics
Support HRIS data review which will include running periodic audits and partnering with HRIS to ensure benefits and compensation data is up-to-date with salary structures, benefits rates, etc.
Collaborate with HR, Finance, and benefit partners.
Leave of Absence/FMLA administration analysis and support to HR Business Partners
3+ years of benefits and compensation work required
Working understanding of human resource principles, practices and procedures
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
Strong Microsoft Excel skills required (from advanced data analysis to manipulation); Microsoft Access skills desired
Experience with Workday (or other HRIS system) preferred
Experience with FMLA, leaves of absence and benefits administration experience highly preferred
