Position Summary

Under direct supervision, observes and operates less complex bottling line equipment in a safe and productive manner to ensure that all packaging specifications and quality standards are met.  The position follows standard work methods and practices safe work habits to ensure production is as efficient and safe as possible.

Responsibilities

• Attends to the operation of less complex bottling equipment (ex. un-caser, case packer, capsule machine, corker, etc.) including loading correct packaging materials into the machinery


• Observes, identifies and corrects current and potential problems with line equipment and communicates to the appropriate person.


• Responsible for general housekeeping duties and maintaining a sanitary work area


• May be responsible for production reporting and/or quality checks


• Responsible for compliance with CBI sustainability policies and practices which are economically viable, socially acceptable and environmentally sound.  This is done by supporting programs at each location for conservation, energy efficiency, and recycling, which are critical for our operations to achieve tangible environmental results.


• Safely-follow safe operating procedures, support safety programs and policies to safeguard personal safety, company property, environmental and team member’s safety.


• Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred and 1 to 2 year’s related experience (equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered)

Physical Requirements/Work Environment

Work Environment:
    -    Works outdoors/indoors
    -    Works in warm/cold climates
    -    Works in high places
    -    Works on wet surfaces
    -    Is exposed to loud noise, fumes and/or toxic chemicals
    -    Works near moving, mechanical parts and lift truck traffic
    -   Must be able to move up to 55 lbs
    -    Primary office environment may be warehouse/distribution setting
