The Senior Staff Accountant supports the finance department by performing general accounting, sales incentive and commission reporting, financial consolidation and reporting, as well as various other accounting functions. The Senior Staff Accountant will be responsible for assisting with activities related to month-end, quarter-end and year-end close. The Senior Staff Accountant is expected to own and maintain a process and will work across all levels of the organization.

Roles & Responsibilities
This position has responsibility for:

• Preparation of monthly and quarterly financial statements as well as supporting documentation
• Specific duties in the month end closing process
• Audit support (SOX, Financial, Tax)
• Prepare and load international forecast and actual financial data into HFM
• Lead annual fixed asset physical inventory
• Calculate and report KPI’s for: DSO, Days Payable, Entitlement Days, CAPEX spend, and inventory turns
• Forecasting key financial metrics
• Revenue recognition and compliance with ASC606
• Corporate intercompany balancing
• Reconcile and analyze assigned general ledger accounts consistent with GAAP and corporate accounting policies to ensure close timelines are met
• Maintain fixed asset ledger, including timely capitalization and tracking of open projects
• Participate in annual budget process
• Review and submit sales rep commissions for payment
• Prepare corporate year-end packages including statutory reports, and provide comprehensive year-end Federal and State Tax packages
• Reporting activities in HFM including forecast and actuals
• Additional as assigned

Position Requirements:
Minimum Qualifications (Experience and Skills)
• 5-7 years experience in a finance or accounting role
• Demonstrate leadership capability
• Knowledge of GAAP and ASC 606 Revenue Recognition
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent analytical skills
• Expertise in MS Excel (creating spreadsheets and using advanced formulas)

Preferred Qualifications
• Hyperion experience preferred
• Experience with HFM
• Manufacturing experience

Education Requirements
• BA with emphasis in accounting, finance, economics or other business related
