In this role you will use your expertise to provide ongoing quality support to Construction and Installation activities for SBA in all regions.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:



  • Interpret and communicate requirements of SBA Quality Management System. Prepare related documentation.



  • Develop and implement required training programs.



  • Conduct internal ground/tower top quality audits and data analyses required for compliance with defined standards.



  • Review procedures and quality instructions developed by others to validate content and to ensure compliance and requirements.



  • Write and revise operating procedures and quality instructions to suit defined requirements and ensure that documentation on file is current and accurately reflects actual operating procedures.



  • Advise management of status of the market quality compliance, requirements and issues via written and verbal communication.



  • Prepare and communicate all required SBA, Industry and Customer specific information to the field crewmembers via virtual and on-site meetings.



  • Other projects and duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Education and/or Experience:



  • Associates’ degree or 2 years of Field Quality Auditing experience.



  • 5+ years’ experience in the Telecommunication industry.



  • 2+ years’ experience as a Field Technician preferred.



  • 2+ years of experience.



  • Climbing Certification, preferred.



  • Working knowledge of wireless technologies and Tower construction



  • Certification in any industry standards desirable (ex. Nokia, Ericsson, PIM, Fiber, RF Sweeps etc.)



  • Must demonstrate intermediate knowledge and ability to work with MS Word, Excel, Internet navigation and e-mail.



Language Skills:



  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.



  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills required



Mathematical Skills:



  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals.



Reasoning Ability:



  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.



Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:



  • Valid driver’s license.
