Job Description:

The Call Center Training Specialist, Jr. position is responsible for providing ongoing training support specific to call center training needs and objectives. They will prepare, implement, and maintain classroom materials, resources, and tools to enhance call center employee-training programs and help to ensure employees acquire the knowledge and skills required to perform job functions effectively. They will also co-assist in the classroom to support the needs of the Call Center Training Specialists and Sr. Call Center Training Specialists.


Minimum Position Requirements to Accomplish Major Priorities.



  • Minimum formal education required for this position:

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent

Each year of relevant work experience may be exchanged for a year in a relevant degree program or vice versa.  For example, a requirement of “Knowledge Consistent with a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting and 2+ years’ of accounting experience” could be substituted for a High School Diploma and 6 years of relevant accounting work experience or a Master’s Degree in Accounting and 0 years of work experience.  


Minimum work experience:



  • 2+ year(s) inbound phone and/or customer service experience to include product referrals and sales.

  • 6+ months’ Ent Call Center MSR (ANY) experience

  • 6+ months experience training / developing curriculum, or other related training experience. 

  • (Preferred) Public speaking experience.

  • (Preferred) Training experience with adult learning.

  • Advanced communication skills including written, oral, presentation, and interpersonal skills.

  • Must have good internal and external member service skills.

  • Basic ability to deliver presentations and prepare materials via Systems and Applications, (Power Point, Word, Excel, Symitar, Element, Test Systems, etc.).

  • Basic ability in technical writing to include training manuals, memoranda, and proposals.

  • Ability to work on multiple tasks and projects, staying on task, and meeting deadlines presented.

  • Capacity to develop a strong knowledge of, and ability to apply, adult learning principles

  • Must be able to work independently in order to complete tasks and assignments.

  • Must be flexible with work schedule in order to accommodate support when needed, to include New Hire training classes.

Certifications required:



  • None required

Environmental, physical and psychological requirements: 



  • Must be able to sit or stand for prolonged periods of time in a climate controlled environment. Must be able to use fingers, hands, wrists for repetitive tasks such as typing, using a mouse, handling paper, currency, or coin, and operating a telephone.   Demands for visual and auditory acuity are typical of an office environment.  Must be able to interact via email, telephone, or in person with diplomacy, tact, and courtesy with all members under varying circumstances.  Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs. Must be comfortable with public speaking and giving demonstrations / presentations to all levels of employees at Ent. 

S12 - $19.81 per hour
