LOCATING TECHNICIAN
Essential Responsibilities
- Complete locates accurately.
- Detect, locate, and evaluate leaks using prescribed procedures.
- Complete daily workload on time.
- Complete daily workload efficiently.
- Perform locates with safety in mind.
- Keep lines of communication open with Management.
- Help in other areas if needed.
- Follow company guidelines set forth in employee manual.
- Be willingly to perform duties in new areas when asked.
- Work after Hours on Call when scheduled.
- Always be reachable during working hours and after-hours duty.
- Respect and care for company issued equipment.
- Walk for long periods of time over rough terrain.
- Maintain a good attendance record.
- Wear company issued uniforms and identification at all times during working hours.
Requirements
- Education: High School or GED.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Satisfactory Driving Record for 3 years
- Ability to work outside most of the time while multi-tasking
- Basic computer skills.
- Six months Utility experience preferred
- Understand maps and directions.
