Role Summary:
 


  • This position of Cook means you’ll be tempting the palettes of our guests with your attention to detail in presentation, quality, and safe serving temperatures. Maintain the service, cleanliness, and availability of the breakfast, lunch, and dinner menus. 
     

Role Responsibilities: 


  • Prepare food of consistent quality following brand recipe cards.

  • Ensure proper documentation on all food containers with adherence to rotations.

  • Practice safety standards at all times.

  • Report to work in full clean uniform on time and ready to serve.

  • Cook orders with adherence to guest requests/special needs in a positive manner.

  • Start food items that are prepared ahead of time.

  • Practice sanitation standards at all times. Make sure that all perishables are being kept at the proper temperatures.

  • Properly portion all items on your assigned station.

  • Control food waste loss and usage. Assist in setting up plans and actions to correct any food cost problems.

  • Check pars for shift use; determine necessary preparation, freezer pull and line set up.

  • Note out-of-stock items or possible shortages.

  • Assist in prep work of vegetables and condiments as required for the next shift.

Work Experience:


  • 1+ year experience cooking in a high volume restaurant.

  • Fine dining experience preferred.
