What You’ll do as a ServiceNow Developer/Architect:
Develop platforms using instructions and requirements from the end user
Independently research capabilities of the platform and provide recommendations and implement solutions to meet business requirements
Manage production and non-Production (Dev, Prod, Test) instances, patching and upgrades
Integrate external and internally hosted applications with ServiceNow
Implementation of ITSM and Facilities Asset Management (Nuvolo)
Configure and customize the ServiceNow system, including creating workflows, custom portals, and form modals.
Assist establishing coding standards to help with consistency
Additional responsibilities as assigned
You’ll be a Great Fit if You Have:
A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or in a related field or equivalent from a four-year College or technical school
ServiceNow System Administrator and Application Developer, Certification preferred
3+ years’ experience with ServiceNow development, configuration, upgrades, orchestration, and integration required
3+ years’ experience with ITSM, Facilities Asset Management, Incident Management, Change Management, HR, Customer Service and Service Catalog Modules in ServiceNow
Experience with MID server, web services (REST), email and other relevant technology
Skilled at building custom apps, tables, asset/CI management, record producers, widgets, pages, portals, etc.
Demonstrated knowledge of LDAP/Active Directory, SAML and relevant IT architecture experience
Knowledge base in JavaScript/GLIDE, HTML5, CSS, and relational databases such as MS SQL Server
Demonstrated skills in Microsoft office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Advanced strategic thinking, problem solving, communication skills and strong organizational skills with time management
Ability to operate out of the box workflows and create/maintain custom workflows
A track record of looking beyond the obvious to identify root causes & simplifying complicated processes finding ways to improve work processes
The ability to listen attentively to people’s ideas and concerns
