Chiquita Canyon Landfill, a Waste Connections company, is looking for a Laborer to join our team in Castaic, CA! This is a full time, long term position with a reputable company. The days of the week are subject to business needs and seniority, but this position will be working weekdays starting at 7AM and alternating Saturdays.

Starting pay is $16.84/hour.

Responsibilities Include:

• Spotting/Directing Trucks is the primary position


• Traffic Manager (moving signs and cones)


• Cleaning Equipment as needed


• General site cleanup as needed


• Driving employees to their work stations as needed


• Fueling pick-ups


• Performing other assigned duties at the landfill as needed

Requirements:

• At least 2 years of work experience. Preferably in a labor type position


• Valid Driver's License


• The ability to lift up to 75 pounds


• Experience operating equipment is a plus


• Ability to work in all weather conditions throughout entire shift


• Mechanical ability is a plus.
