Kenworth Truck Company is the manufacturer of The World s Best heavy and medium duty trucks. The company s dedication to the green fleet includes aerodynamic trucks, compressed and liquefied natural gas trucks, and medium duty diesel-electric hybrids. Requisition Summary

The Medical Administrative Assistant is the primary administrative support staff to the Kenworth Medical Department. As this position will directly interface with employees, managers, and health care providers, a professional and collaborative communication style will be required. Job Functions / Responsibilities

* Coordinate employee care through the medical department.

* Answers phones, schedule appointments, transfer calls, and greet employees in the department.

* Files and maintains medical records.

* Administer and perform administrative and clerical functions for the department.

* Coordinate outgoing medical related mail to employees.

* Perform correspondence with employees, managers, healthcare providers, and community members.

* Receive, organize, and track medical documentation flowing through the department.

* Escalate issues, questions and/or concerns to the nursing team.

* Ensure protection of patient privacy rights.

* Coordinate the distribution of FMLA paperwork and tracking spreadsheets.

* Assist with short and long-term disability paperwork and data entry into database.

* Administrative support including screening calls, preparing correspondence, reports, presentations, maintaining project files, travel planning and meeting planning.

* Generate and distribute a number of reports to Plant, Corporate, and other PACCAR Divisions/Locations.

* Monitor and order office supplies and forms through the Company Store and through coordination with MRO personnel.

* Assists in organizing and supporting plant-wide events with associate media, equipment services, and food services.

* Enters daily hours for employees who are away from work.

* Additional administrative duties as assigned to support Kenworth Chillicothe.

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:

* Demonstrated strong oral communication skills, excellent proofreading, and grammatical and written communication abilities.

* A minimum of 1-3 years experience working in an administrative role. Medical office preferred.

* Strong computer skills with an advanced level of experience in Microsoft Office, i.e., Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, and Publisher. Successfully passing MS office testing required.

* High School graduate or equivalent required; BS/BA Degree preferred. STNA or medical certification preferred.

* Ability to maintain confidentiality is required.

* Ability to interact with all levels of Kenworth employees and visitors.

* Excellent organizational skills, exhibits a professional demeanor, and possesses strong interpersonal skills.

* Ability to work independently and manage multiple deadlines.

Education

BS/BA Degree preferred. STNA or medical certification preferred. Skills / Competencies
