Responsible for performing and assisting with cardiac diagnostic testing procedures.

RESPONSIBILITIES

* 1. Prepares patient and equipment for all stress testing procedures.

* 1.1 Check for accurate and complete physician order for test/procedure.

* 2. Apply 24 hour Holter monitors and event monitors on patients. Download returned holter monitors into system.

* 2.1 Checks for accurate and complete physician orders for test/procedure.

* 3. Performs 12 lead EKG and rhythm strip for nurse or physician interpretation.

* 3.1 Checks for accurate and complete physician order for 12 lead EKG procedure. Ensures hospital billing sheets are correct.

* 4. Performs PVRs.

* 4.1 Checks for accurate and complete physician order for PVR procedure. Ensures hospital billing sheets are correct.

* 5. Performs administrative and environmental duties.

* 5.1 Performs hopistal bundling in a timely and accurate manner.

* 6. Performs other related duties as assigned.

* 6.1 Respect and promote patient rights.

QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION

High school diploma or equivalent.

EXPERIENCE

Minimum two years experience in a hospital or medical office setting. Cardiac and stress testing experience preferred. EKG and manual blood pressure reading skill needed.

PHYSICAL DEMAND

Requires extended periods of sitting, walking and standing. Moderate unassisted lifting to 30 lbs.
