Job Description:

The Leader in Training Program allows Lippert Components Leadership to develop the skills of future leaders in all areas of the manufacturing environment. The Leader Trainee will gain exposure to the tools, thought processes, and support systems required to design and implement new strategies within Lippert Components (LCI). Curriculum utilized during the program will provide a roadmap that introduces each Leader Trainee to the infrastructure that LCI strives for and has been built upon.

Essential Functions

* Master learning modules that build a foundation for leadership within LCI

* Complete online eLearning courses to supplement day-to-day learnings and interactions

* Establish short-term and long-term program goals and expectations

* Perform maintenance and service tasks for customers in an assigned territory

* Assist in the processing of purchase orders

* Provide support for customer and technical service

* Ensure accuracy of inventory counts

* Create, edit, and communicate Bill of Material (BOM)

* Participate in manufacturing & quality control

* Learn LEAN production practices

* Understand EHS policies and identify any LCI safety cultural improvements

* Assess standard manufacturing reports and their strategic financial use

* Shadow inside and outside sales team

* Perform other duties as assigned

Supervisory Responsibility

This position has no supervisory responsibilities upon hiring, however, potential direct reports are a possibility.

Work Environment/Physical Demands

While performing the duties of this job, the team member is regularly required to talk and hear. This position is very active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, and climbing all day. The team member must frequently lift and/or move items over 75 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time position, and the expected work hours are 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday; weekend and overnight work is also necessary.

Travel

Local travel is expected for this position.

Required Education and Experience

* Graduating Senior status or Bachelor's degree in one of the following areas is preferred:

* Supply Chain: Purchasing Supply Chain Logistics, Operations, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration or related field of study

* Information Systems: Management Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Administration

* Accounting: Public Accounting, Management Accounting, Internal Auditing

* Engineering: Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial

* Human Resources: Human Resource Management, Business Administration, Industrial/Organizational Psychology or related field of study

* Quality Assurance
