Highlights:

Architects are the stewards of the operating business functionality and manages the interplay between company vision, products, systems and information technology delivery. This role will lead a team of architects focused on technical initiatives, providing skilled guidance and leadership. Responsibility for identifying best practices and coordinating business integration and cross-functional projects. Additional responsibilities include capturing business capabilities and value streams and using them for the generation of forward looking roadmaps and customer journeys and evangelizing business architecture vision, roadmaps and processed with customers and IT.

You thrive in an office environment guiding teams and traveling as needed to meet business objectives. You report directly to the VP, Enterprise Business Integration for goals and guidance.

What you will do:

* Encourage company-wide excellence through active and consistent support of all efforts to simplify and enhance the client experience.

* Drive the delivery of functional requirements and execution of user acceptance and operational readiness within an assigned portfolio by translating high-level business rules and basic requirements into detailed test plans with traceable entrance and exit criteria.

* Manage the department to ensure effective project and resource planning and serve as a mentor to Managers and Analysts regarding requirements analysis and test planning.

* Ensure captured data is operationally sound and supports requirements through participation in design reviews and requirements gathering sessions and providing sign off recommendations to leadership.

* Achieve stakeholder review and approval of projects as applicable by delivering vetted test plans with documented use and test cases and traceability matrices.

* Conduct UAT and ORT test cycles, to include securing testing resources, executing test scripts, defect management and delivery of testing dashboards to ensure sound deliverables.

* Ensure launch readiness for products through collaboration with Operations and Training teams, project owners and upstream and downstream delivery agents.

* Improve productivity by supporting the Learning and Development team with input on training curriculums and mentoring Managers and Analysts on requirements analysis and test planning.

* Increase team efficiency through coaching, mentoring and providing feedback to teams, including timesheet maintenance and performance reviews.

* Perform special projects related to the position as assigned.

Required keys for success:

* Five or more years of management experience

* Eight or more years of experience with telecommunications leadership

* 10 or more years of experience with business analysis and testing

* Expert in core business processes, existing system capabilities and business process re-engineering

* In-depth knowledge of video, internet, phone, residential and business product features and system capabilities

* History of mitigating risk and implementing contingency plans while leading and motivating others

* Leadership skills that can guide teams and individual contributors and entry-level managers

* Track record of building high-performance teams, defining key performance indicators and metrics

* Proven prioritization and organizational skills with the ability to analyze and interpret data while showing sound judgment and initiative to accomplish job duties

* Confident in preparing and delivering data-driven presentations

* Track record of influencing internal and external stakeholders and building a consensus

* Effective written and spoken English communication skills with all levels of an organization

* Experience in systems architecture, process modeling and solutions

* Expert knowledge of one or more enterprise systems and applications

* Expert understanding of business unit standard workflows, processes and procedures

* Superior problem-solving and analytic ability

Your education:

* Bachelor s Degree in business administration or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience (required)

* Master s Degree in a related field (preferred)

* Business Analyst Certification or successful completion of a recognized curriculum within the industry (preferred)
