We have an opportunity for an Operations Supervisor to join our Sanford, NC team. You will be responsible for overall performance and leading the production team to continuously improve Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, and Cash, while also ensuring talent development of the team. You will:

* Ensure a safe and ergonomic work environment for the team and encourages suggestions, actions and ownership for improvement.

* Ensure process and product quality through the adherence to standard work and other related documents/procedures.

* Responsible for training the team and improving flow within the cells to ensure that customer demand is met.

* Responsible for staffing requirements that meets the established goals/line rates.

* Ensure inventory accuracy through established depletion/replenishment systems and cycle counting processes.

* Responsible for the coaching and mentoring of team members for career/talent development

* Responsible for ensuring that the team operates with a WIN RIGHT mentality and operates within the policies and procedures of Pentair.

* Fosters a culture of continuous improvement.

* Other duties as assigned.

Key Qualifications:

* Bachelor s Degree and 1-3 years of supervisory experience or a minimum of 5 years of supervisory experience

* 2-5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment

* Must be a hands-on Leader

* Lean Manufacturing knowledge and implementation experience preferred

* Personnel Management

* High energy and the ability to motivate and influence

* Strong problem solving & critical thinking skills

* Able to communicate effectively in the English language

* Able to communicate in Spanish is a plus, but not required
